4 days intensive development session in hybrid format

in St. Pölten, Salzburg, Linz, Amstetten, Klagenfurt, Vienna And online
From June 26th until June 30th, 2022 we held the 4th edition of our annual future tech bootcamp as part of our ongoing FFG-funded Digital Makers Hub programme and with the kind support of numerous network partners (see more details below).
Thanks to the hospitality of the UAS St. Pölten, our media and event centre could once again be set up directly at the university of applied sciences, from where all live streaming, live direction and also central moderation was organised. In parallel, the premises and infrastructure of various space partners in Austria were also available for our teams. These included the Gemini Startup Base in Hallwang/Salzburg, the Tabakfabrik and its GRAND GARAGE in Linz, the Makerspace Carinthia in Klagenfurt, the MakerSpace[A] in Amstetten and the Happylab in Vienna.
Our agenda this year was dominated by the future tech challenges of our partners Infineon * Tributech * Magenta, Philips Domestic Appliances Austria, Schwarzmüller and the TU Wien, which focused on smart, safe and sustainable IoT solutions, innovative loading applications using AI and sensor technology, new food management solutions for private households, kitchen appliance extensions as well as the search for new use cases for patented technologies in the field of green hydrogen, water desalination and liquid extraction.
In the course of developing new solutions, the teams were actively supported by both the challenge owners and experts from our technology partners. As technology partners on board this time were Trivion / Umdasch Group Ventures, Microtronics, Jabil and Twingz.
Which innovative results could be developed in the short time of the 4 days and which plans will be further pursued with them until our Best of #IMM2022 event on October 20, 2022 at the Digital Days in the Impact Hub Vienna can be seen in the videos below.
We are already very excited to see what else awaits us this year on our way to the finish line!
