Yes! We did it for the 3rd time!
From June 21st to June 24th, our next Future Tech Bootcamp successfully took place and the results were once again sensational. Some of them can already be seen here. Some others will be presented for the first time at the Best of #IMM2021 event at the Digital Days on October 18th in the evening.
First and foremost, we would like to thank our 13 industry partners (Infineon & Energie AG / Wertstatt 8, HP, VOSS / VOSS Incubator, Smart Textiles Platform Austria, TELE Haase / Factory Hub Vienna, Microtronics, Vienna Business Agency, Salzburg Research, MHT Instruments, SOBOS PegelAlarm & RISC Software with the Business Upper Austria incl. DEAS Projekt) with their 30 team members and internal experts for contributing their 12 exciting challenges, as well as our 60 dedicated makers (from the UAS St. Pölten, the UAS Salzburg, the HTL Kapfenberg, further international universities, the private economy as well as the research and hobby sector, see below) who worked so hard over the 4 days to develop these great solutions.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters and co-organisers (especially our main host, the UAS St. Pölten, the Industrial Association Lower Austria, Smartup St. Pölten, Digital Makers Hub, DigitalCity.Wien and FFG), our 11 regional network partners (Vienna Business Agency, Zukunftsakademie Mostviertel, Business Upper Austria, ITG Salzburg, Tyrol Business Agency, WISTO - Business Location Vorarlberg, BABEG in Carinthia, SFG - Styrian Business Development Society, Burgenland Business Agency, NOI Techpark Bolzano & Enterprise Europe Network), 11 external experts (Stephanie Jacoubi - SBA Research, Thomas Gruber - Trivion / Umdasch Group Ventures, Marcus Keding - Forschung Burgenland, Irina Ulrike Andel & Alex Hackl - THIS PLAY, Dr. Selim Erol - UAS Wiener Neustadt, Benjamin Massow - MC Innsbruck, Christian Hueter - d4pro, Clemens Mayer - MAYER MAKES, Dr. Daniela Zavec - Titera & Jan Blatt), 8 local maker spaces (especially to the team of the GEMINI Startup Base in Salzburg with its sensational supporting programme and live gigs as well as to the Happy Lab & Maker Austria in Vienna, Innovation Lab FH Wiener Neustadt, Makerspace(A) in Amstetten, GRAND GARAGE in Linz, Maker Space Carinthia in Klagenfurt and the NOI Maker Space in Bolzano), 2 synchronous interpreters (Ursula Fischer & Aron) and 3 event partners (Creativity meets Industry hackathon of the Creative Region in the Tabakfabrik Linz, Electronic Pulse of Factory Hub Vienna, TU Vienna, PIDSO, UAS Technikum Wien and the Infineon Hub), and Digital Makers Day of the Digital Makers Hub). Without them, this manoeuvre would not have been feasible! And we were also happy about the visits of the many onlookers who came by every now and then to see how things were going.
Below you can find the first parts of the video recordings of the morning session on our final day. Have fun browsing and watching! (Note: This is the recording from the German main stream. We will add the material from the English channel with the translation by the synchronous interpreters in this post shortly.)
